Sydling St Nicholas

Welcome to the rural idyll of Sydling St Nicholas. Set in our own valley, we are a close knit community both inside and outside the church. We have a family-feel to our worship, in the sense that everyone is made to feel welcome and at home within our congregation. One of the things we are most passionate about, in the future of our church, is our eco-engagements. We are members of Eco church, and are currently trying to work out the most efficient way to restore the church's heating, safeguarding both creation and our place of worship.

Our congregation value word and sacrament in equal measure, but we also have a strong tradition of lay leadership in services and are blessed by a number of gifted lay worship leaders amongst our congregation. We have services of the word on first, second and fourth Sundays of the month, and a service of Holy Communion on the third Sunday at 9.30apm. All are welcome.
